Join us for a springtime holiday in France in the beautiful Loire Valley. We will bicycle through ancient towns and vineyards along the Loire river. Of course we will stop to sample the local culinary delights like croissants, cheese and the local wine. We will visit castles and chateaux that make those in Newport look like a childs backyard playset....
Come and see for yourself a slice of history that is both fascinating and wonderful. Included is a place to sleep (a river barge!), meals and your bicycle. Transportation from Paris to our departure site and return is also included.
Bicycles are comfortable and up to date, expect to ride between 25 and 35 miles a day. This is not a race but a bicycling experience in the beautiful countryside of France!

Dates are May 3rd to May 10th. Additional nights in Paris can be arranged, yes you can see the city of lights after the barge and bike trip concludes.
Book your own airline passage. I suggest arriving a day early and staying 2 or 3 days later in order to maximize your vacation.
Please note that price does not include airfare! Airfare is approximately $950 per person as of 8/20/2013. Please note that the closer to summer we get the higher the air fares rise. Don't delay too long in booking!
